The Southeast Dental Society (SEDS) includes the counties of Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Dent, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Pemiscot, Perry, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Stoddard, Washington and Wayne. SEDS is a local component of the tripartite association of the MDA and ADA, and meets at least annually for a business and CE meeting. Thursday, September 17

Golf Tournament

  • 8am: Registration and Rules
  • 8:30am: 18-Hole Scramble Golf (Shotgun Start)
  • $35/person (includes lunch and prizes)

CE Meeting

  • 7:30am: Registration & Breakfast
  • 8am to 11am: Current Concepts in Preventive Dentistry: Evidence Based Products for Caries Prevention and Remineralization, presented by Mary Govoni, MBA, RDH, CDA
  • 11am to 1pm: Break for Lunch (on your own)
  • 1pm to 4pm: CE Program (Title TBA), presented by Sandra Lambert, RDH
  • 5:30pm: Happy Hour
  • 6pm to 9pm: Dinner (catered by Top of the Marque) and Officer Installation, followed by live band, "Old Cape Road" with the theme "Tailgate/Sports Jerseys"

Friday, September 18

  • 8am to 11am: Extractions: Complications & Solutions, presented by Dr. Jay Reznick
  • 11:30am: Lunch provided at Buckner Ragsdale, only for members who RSVP for the SEDS business meeting (must RSVP to eat lunch). Attendees not attending meeting will break for lunch on their own.
  • 1pm to 4pm: Non Surgical PerioTherapy: Assessment to Instrumentation, presented by Silky Sharma RDH, EdD
