Endodontic Potpourri: Clinical Decision Making in Endodontics
Dr. Erick Jansson
Endodontic needs are present in every general dental practice. Dr. Jansson will discuss endodontic prognosis, cracked teeth, and antibiotic usage as they relate to managing these cases. Appropriate management of acute signs and symptoms will be addressed. It is our hope that this discussion will increase the tools and knowledge that you have available to triage, diagnose and manage endodontic emergencies in your office.

Born and raised in Utah, Dr. Erick A. Jansson attended Utah Valley State College from 2000 to 2006, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Following graduation, he went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he graduated from in 2010, and began his service in the United States Army. Dr. Jansson received his certificate of Endodontics after completing two years of training during his Endodontic Residency at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In June 2016 he opened his practice in Jefferson City, MO.
Dr. Jansson is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Missouri Dental Association and served as President of the Jefferson City Dental Society from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, he is a board member of Missouri Dental Insurance Services and Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Jansson and his wife, Lara, live in Jefferson City with their six children.
