New Dentists

The mission of the MDA New Dentist Committee is to be the voice and front line resource to new dentists throughout the tripartite who have been out of dental school for less than 10 years, to demonstrate the value of membership, and to focus on the needs of new dentists and dental students through the development of resources, education, facilitation of networking opportunities and advocacy. The New Dentist voice is represented in a variety of ways in the MDA:

• The MDA Board of Trustees includes a New Dentist as a voting member, elected by the New Dentist Committee. 
• The MODentPAC Board includes a member who is a New Dentist, elected by the New Dentist Committee.
• The MDA Board of Trustees selects one New Dentist member each year to attend the ADA Dentist and Student Lobby Day in Washington, D.C.

Join us at the annual Connect4Success meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks in June! This event is especially designed with the new dentist in mind, having CE that is recommended by the New Dentist Committee, a New Dentist Hangout event and more. 

Join your colleagues on the Missouri New Dentist Network (NDN) Facebook Group. The NDN allows engagement and participation across the state for all dental students and new dentists. Participation in the NDN allows you to give input, interact with others and provide feedback on things that matter to you. Contact Paul if you're interested or have questions.
