Section 1557: Taglines & Translation/Interpretation

Section 1557 rules require covered dental practices to post two notices by October 16, 2016: a Notice of Nondiscrimination and Taglines. As a member value, the ADA has developed a taglines for the top 15 languages for Missouri. Additionally, find details on Missouri-specific translation/interpretation services. Read More

Missouri College Closes

On November 2, the MDA learned of the closing of Missouri College in St. Louis. The MDA has received calls of concern from dental assistants enrolled in their program (the school had both a dental assistant and hygiene program). CMS Delays Medicare Part D
to January 2019

On November 1, the ADA News reported that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced it is delaying enforcement of the Medicare Part D prescriber enrollment requirement. Providers now need to enroll by January 1, 2019 instead of by February 1, 2017. The ADA continues to seek a legislative repeal of the requirement. Read More
