Oral Health ECHO and Infection Control & Prevention Series offer free CE, offered through MU.
Do you wish you could consult the advice of other dental professionals and specialists? Show-Me ECHO presents an opportunity for you to learn and collaborate with a variety of experts and healthcare professionals. All dental health professionals are invited to join the MU monthly videoconferencing ECHO program (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes).
The Oral Health ECHO meets virtually on the second Wednesday of every month from Noon to 1pm. Each session begins with a 20-30 minute “knowledge-burst” presentation given by one of the ECHO Hub team members.
The current roster of specialties represented include dental hygiene, infectious disease, oral pathology, oral surgery, pharmacology, pediatric dentistry, periodontology and prosthodontics. The remaining time allows participants to discuss and share clinical cases, ask questions and seek solutions for their patients and unique professional experiences. Previous case presentations have included oral lesions, dental trauma and complex treatment planning questions.
Participants can earn 1 hour of free CE for each session they attend. Visit showmeecho.org for information or to register and contact firstname.lastname@example.org for questions.
The University of Missouri also offers a monthly Infection Control and Prevention Webinar Series: What you need to know to keep you, your patients and community safe. Second Thursday of each month from Noon to 1pm. Each webinar program is 1 CE credit. Click here for details.
