These two events help us reach our one goal: making sure dentists' voices are heard!
In 2022, the MDA will host the first of two advocacy events we have planned for the 2022 session, the MDA Virtual Town Hall on Tuesday, February 1. Then, just over a month later, we’ll look forward to seeing you at the MDA Dental Day at the Capitol, on Wednesday, March 9!

The importance of advocacy cannot be overstated, so please join us for both events, which are open to all members and dental students. These two events help us reach our one goal: making sure your voice is heard on issues important to the dental profession.
The Virtual Town Hall (from 6-7pm) is an opportunity to hear from MDA leaders about the MDA legislative priorities for 2022. Additionally, key elected officials will share their perspectives on state priority issues.
The in-person Dental Day at the Capitol in Jefferson City provides an opportunity for dentists to meet face to face with their legislators—and by this point of session, most bills will be assigned and in committee hearings, thus making member visits timelier and more informative. After you register, we will contact you to schedule appointment times with legislators.
