RSS is a web feed
format used to publish frequently updated works such as news headlines.
Why use RSS?
RSS's primary value is that it brings information to you without you having
to visit multiple web sites. Streamlining the flow of information from producer
to consumer gives benefit to both producer and consumer. You tune into the
information you do want and it comes directly to you.
What are Feed Readers or Aggregators?
Feed Reader or
News Aggregator software allow you to grab/subscribe to the RSS feeds of your
choice from various sites and display them for you to read and use. Recommended
free readers/aggregators:
