Legislative Day

The MDA will have three Legislative Day events at the State Capitol in 2011 to provide increased opportunities for face-to-face visits with your legislators and to remind them of the important role dentists play in the oral-and overall-health of our state.

Please make plans to join us for the following 2011 Legislative Days. Listed next to the dates are the components who are hosting; however, all members are invited to any and all dates. We'll provide more details as available.

In general, each day begins at 9 a.m. with a briefing at the MDA office, followed by visits to the Capitol. You should be finished by lunchtime and can invite your legislators to lunch or head back to your home.

• February 2: UMKC Dental Students (students, contact your ASDA representative for details)
• March 1: Northeast, Greater St. Louis, Central and Southeast
• April 20: Northwest, Greater Kansas City, Southwest and Greater Springfield
