ATSU MOSDOH insider look - part 2

Each work station featured a roll out simulated patient. I thought it looked too much like Hannibal Lecter! One feature that Dean Halliday spoke of repeatedly was collaboration. The classrooms are designed to facilitate communication between students while never having to adjust your seat to see a monitor. They have study rooms throughout the building equipped with gigantic white boards, computer hook ups and monitors so students can work together on projects and homework. Even the vending area is arranged like a bar for easy social interaction.
It's only been 3 weeks of class and the grand inauguration ceremonies are not until next week but the first class of dental students is off and running. I can't thank Dr. Halliday enough for his generous spirit to show us around and to welcome MDA's involvement with the school.
