Day at the Game SEC style!

It's hard to improve on the recipe for the MDA's Day at the Game event. Take a homecoming football weekend, add sunshine, sprinkle in copious amounts of food and alcohol, give away cool t-shirts, invite dentists, wear your school colors and bring home a victory! Works every time.
It was a successful DAG event inside our warm tent by Mizzou Arena as about 140 people took part in either the tailgate party or the game or both. The early kickoff did not deter attendance or dampen spirits as MDA members and their families and guests enjoyed some good BBQ and each other. We carried the good vibe on the field (literally as seats were in the north end zone) and the Tigers went on to win their first ever SEC game.
I have to give props to Dr. Jennifer Wheeler, a Kentucky fan, for sporting her colors and bringing a fun crew from her neighborhood. It was okay to see some blue in the tent as long as it wasn't Jayhawk blue :). I hope even the Wildcat fans enjoyed their Day at the Game experience. That's Dr. Wheeler, second on the right, next to her husband, in the first photo.
I tip my hat to Mandy Lewis at the MDA for organizing a great event. Cassie Tangney did a superb job with the t-shirts and Learfield Sports did an excellent job as our tent, food, and ticket host. A special shout out to our sponsors MDIS and The Endeavor Group. We couldn't do it without them and it was fun to have them there mixing it up with the lively crowd.
Don't miss out. Be sure to join us next year at MDA's Day at the Game. M - I - Z....
