Staff Retreat - Animal Rescue Park

Turpentine Creek WildLife Rescue Park is just 7 miles outside Eureka Springs. It serves as a habitat for all sorts of large animals that have been abused or abandoned. Most of these are tigers, pumas, cougars, lions, and other large cats. They even have a Liger (cross between an lion and tiger - seen above). The tour was very educational and the park staff were mainly hard working interns who obviously love big animals. Once again, I won't recall all the interesting stories of rescue and funny behavior. I would like to go back and stay on property because they say you can hear the roaring all night. It's a must see stop if you love big cats.
